Pending proceedings, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the respondent's wife had agreed for quashing of the above said proceedings on receipt of compensation of Rs.10,00,000/-. 3. Today, a demand draft for a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- has been paid to the respondent's wife before this Court. She submitted that she has no objection for quashing of the domestic violence complaint. 4. In view of the above said facts, D.V.O.P.No.82 of 2024, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli, stands quashed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
