1. The limited relief sought by the petitioners through this petition is a direction to the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies (Mumbai Division) i.e. respondent No.2, to pass orders on Revision Application No.517 of 2025 and Appeal No.40 of 2026, which have been heard by him, but orders thereon have not yet been passed since February 2026. 2. Upon hearing the counsel for the petitioners and on perusal of the petition, we find that the relief sought is innocuous in nature and it is evidently clear that the proceedings have been closed for orders, but the same remain undecided for more than five months. We, therefore, direct the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies (Mumbai Division)/respondent No.2 to pass final orders, adjudicating the Appeal as well as the Revision Application which have been closed for orders, in any event, no later than four weeks from today. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. The learned Government Advocate shall communicate the aforesaid order to respondent No.2-Divisional Joint Registrar, Co- operative Societies (Mumbai Division).
