Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and is in custody for 233 days. Till date, charges have not yet been framed. As such, petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim before the learned Magistrate as well as the medico-legal report. On an assessment of the same, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the petitioner. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 2 The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2652 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
