ORDER The prayer in this Criminal Original Petition is to quash the First Information Report in Crime No. 58 of 2026, on the file of the first respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the second respondent is the daughter of the petitioners and that the averments contained in the complaint itself would reveal that the complaint came to be lodged only because the petitioners had taken appropriate action when the second respondent was allegedly enticed by the third respondent. According to the
learned counsel, the complaint is false and has been lodged with an ulterior motive.
3. Be that as it may, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor that the investigation has been completed and that a final report / charge sheet has already been filed on 06.07.2026 in LTN20240000282C202600246 before the Fast Track Court, Puducherry. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to examine the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioners in the present petition. As and when the final report is taken on file by the jurisdictional Court and copies are furnished to the petitioners/accused, it is open to them to raise all the grounds available to them before the trial Court / or to work out their remedies against the final report in the manner known to law.
