This petition has been filed with the following prayers: “In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to: i. Issue a writ of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents, particularly the Standing Screening Committee (Respondent No. 3), to forthwith decide the case of the Petitioner (pending before the Screening Committee since 01.02.2025), bearing in mind the honorable acquittal of the Petitioner vide judgment dated 13.11.2025 in case FIR No. 28/2021; AND This is a digitally signed order. If that be so, the committee shall take a decision within a period of six weeks from today and communicate the decision to the petitioner, as we find that the issue is pending before the standing committee, effective from 01.02.2025, for almost an year. 6.
