By the order dated 05.12.2025 it was directed that till the next date fixed i.e. 12.11.2025 proceeding against the petitioner should not be carried out in terms of the show cause notice issued to him. On the failure of the petitioner to take appropriate steps for service of notice, this Court on 31.01.2026 had observed that if steps were not taken prior to 09.02.2026 it would be presumed that the petitioner is not interested in the instant proceeding. Liberty was however granted to renew the prayer for interim protection on the next date i.e. today, in case the steps were taken. Mr. P.K Roychoudhury, learned counsel has submitted that he has taken steps and therefore, this Court may extend the interim order passed on 05.12.2025. In view of the steps taken, this I.A(C) is disposed of by extending the interim protection granted to the petitioner by the order dated 05.12.2025 till the next date of listing of the writ petition.
