ORDER 28-04-2026 Heard Mr. A. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State respondent.
2. This is application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Guru Shehnaz @ Shahnaz Kinnar, who is apprehending arrest in connection with Sukchar P.S. Case No. 06/2026 under Sections 143(4) of BNS, 2023.

3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Sukchar P.S. Case No. 06/2026 vide Charge-Sheet No. 20/2026 dated
29.03.2026.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court for regular bail in said Sukchar P.S. Case No. 06/2026 within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from today, which may be considered in accordance with law.
5. The interim bail granted to the petitioner earlier on 18.03.2026 in said Sukchar P.S. Case No. 06/2026 shall remain in force for the next 15 (fifteen) days.
6. In the event, the petitioner fails to appear before the learned Trial Court seeking regular bail, within the period of 15 (fifteen) days, the interim bail granted to her shall stands cancelled.
7. With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
