When the matter came up for hearing, the Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner was called for an enquiry in relation to a pending petition. 2. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that already a civil suit is pending between the parties and suppressing the civil suit, an order of police protection was also obtained in W.P.Crl.No.790 of 2026. The said facts can also be placed before the investigating authority during the course of the enquiry and the same shall be duly considered. 3. In view thereof, the petitioner may appear before the respondent police on 17.07.2026, and the enquiry may be completed on the same day, or, if not, within one additional working day. Thereafter, the parties shall be bound by the outcome of the enquiry. The petitioner shall not be repeatedly called for the enquiry.
