HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23333 WP No. 13388 of 2026
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS
ORAL ORDER
Learned High Court Government Pleader is directed to take notice for all the respondents. 2. Learned HCGP raises a preliminary objection that the petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent No.4 – Tahsildar, Bengaluru South Taluk to consider the representation at Annexure-A given by the petitioner.
However the grievance of the petitioner is that in the RTC as found at Annexure-B in column No.9 it is reflected as 'RTC does not have any owner' and the extent of land is shown as 2.14 acres. It is the contention of the petitioner that the khata was earlier standing in the name of Sri.Bettaiah, the grandfather of the petitioner and the extent of land was 14 guntas. Therefore if a wrong entry is found and the name of the kathedar is removed illegally, then the remedy will lie before the Assistant Commissioner under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. - 4 -

Learned High Court Government Pleader is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today. Sd/- (R DEVDAS) JUDGE GPG List No.: 1 Sl No.: 27
