2. WP.No.25812 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:-

WP No. 25808 of 2026 __________ Page5 of 8 provide suitable employment to petitioner son, Vijayakumar, in TANGEDCO or any other appropriate government department within time frame to be stipulated by this Honourable Court.” 3.WP.No.25819 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:-
“directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on our respective representations dated 18.10.2024 in strict adherence to G.O.Ms.
No.656, Labour and Employment Department dated 29.06.1978 and the settled legal principles established by this Honble court, and consequently direct the respondents to provide suitable employment to our afore- mentioned eligible family members in TANGEDCO or any other appropriate government department within a time frame to be stipulated by this Honourable Court.” 4.The main grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents, having acquired their lands on the assurance of providing employment, have failed to fulfil the said promise. The petitioners/their family members, being fully entitled to appointment in terms of G.O.Ms.No.656 dated 29.06.1978, have been deprived of the said benefit despite submitting representations dated 18.10.2024, 10.11.2024, and 16.11.2024, which remain unconsidered to date. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioners and in the absence of any serious objection on the side of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners’ representation dated 18.10.2024, 10.11.2024, and 16.11.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of personal to the hearing to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
