Pachaiyappan, Government’s Counsel for R1 to R11 ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to dispose the petitioner’s appeal dated 15.04.2024. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed an appeal dated 15.04.2024 before the first respondent preferred against the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Roc.No.K5/K1/9636/2011 dated 25.10.2023 and consequently direct the first respondent to restore the Patta standing in his name in respect of the land measuring 1.22 acres comprised in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 25957 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 old survey no.179/1PT, New survey No.7PT, presently town survey No.7/1 and 7/2 Ward-G, Block No.25, Adambakkam village, Chennai District. However, the said appeal was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 11 and submitted that the petitioner's appeal dated 15.04.2024 will be considered within a period of eight weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 15.04.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
