The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he purchased a property situated in S.F.No.87/33, Natham Patta No.9, comprised of 124 sq.m, Villupuram R.D., Arkandanallru Sub.D., Keelkondur Village, vide Sale Deed dated 16.07.2025 and is in possession of the same. At the time of execution of the Sale Deed, the petitioner has made an application dated 02.04.2026 to the 2nd respondent to survey and mark the boundaries of her land. However, till date, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner’s land will be surveyed and demarcated based on her online application dated 02.04.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 25402 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 5 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government’s Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submissions made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner’s online application dated 02.04.2026 and conduct a survey and demarcate the subject properties, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing prior notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other parties concerned. If any need arises for Police assistance, it is open to the respondents 1 and 2 to request for Police protection from the 3rd respondent/jurisdictional Police. If any such request is made, the 3rd respondent/jurisdictional Police is directed to provide an adequate Police protection for conducting the survey. 6.In the event of any dispute regarding possession, the respondents shall not adjudicate upon the question of title. The petitioner and the concerned parties are at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for recovery of possession and for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law.
