The grievance of the petitioner is that despite a direction being issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Mandya Sub-Division as found at Annexure-L dated 24.07.2024, the Tahsildar, Malavalli Taluk has not passed any orders to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the RTC pursuant to the death of the petitioner's - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:806 WP No. 28618 of 2025 husband, Sri Shivalingaiah, whose name is found in the RTC. 3. Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the Tahsildar, Malavalli Taluk, will pass necessary orders within the time as directed by this Court. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to the respondent No.4 – Tahsildar, Malavalli Taluk to act in terms of the directions given by the Assistant Commissioner at Annexure-L dated 24.07.2024, call for necessary information from the petitioner regarding the death of Sri Shivalingaiah, who is the present Kathedar, as found in the RTC at Annexure-B for the year 2024-2025 and proceed to enter the names of the legal heirs of late Sri Shivalingaiah in the RTC as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
