The ranks of the parties are retained as per Tribunal for the sake of convenience. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:5265 MFA No. 6910 of 2025 3. The petitioner/injured claimant had filed petition before the Tribunal for compensation of Rs.20,00,000/-. The Tribunal considering the entire evidence on record granted an amount of Rs.1,07,000/- with interest at the rate of 6% p.a., from the date of filing the petition till the date of realization. Being aggrieved by the said order, this appeal is filed. 4. It is stated that the petitioner/injured claimant aged 25 years, met with an accident on 10.02.2021. Due to the injuries sustained in the accident, she was hospitalized for a period of two days. She was working as a housemaid and earning Rs.20,000/- per month. However, the Tribunal has not considered the said income and has taken her notional income at Rs.15,000/- per month and the same is confirmed. She took bed rest for four months. Therefore, she is entitled for loss income during laid up period for six months and thus requested for enhancement of the compensation. 5. The petitioner has not examined the doctor. She might not have attended her work for a period of two months. Therefore, she is entitled to a sum of Rs.30,000/- (15,000x2) under the head loss of income during the laid-up period. 6. Thus in all, compensation awarded by this Court is as below: Sl.Nos. Particulars Amount in Rs. 1.
