Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Dominic S.David, learned Government’s counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 4th respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 22.06.2026 before the 3rd respondent, requesting them to issue patta, pertaining to the subject land, in favour of the petitioner. In reply, the learned counsel for the official respondent would submit that the petitioner’s application will be disposed of within a period of 2 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 22.06.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost. 9.
