A PHUKAN,MR S M T CHISTIE BEFORE THE HON’BLE MR JUSTICE ARUN DEV CHOUDHURY O R D E R 06.02.2026 By the order dated 23.03.2022 passed in WP(C) 2229/2021, this court directed the Director of Elementary Education, Assam to bring the logical end to the recommendation of the District Scrutiny Committee, Dhubri made in favour of the petitioner for being provincialised as tutor in Page No.# 2/2 language subject in Barabari ME Madrassa and pass a reasoned order thereon. The case of the petitioner was that his claim for provincialisation was not considered. Mr. A Phukan, learned counsel has produced a speaking order dated 22.05.2023, whereby the Director once again rejected the claim of the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid, in the opinion of this court, the order dated 23.03.2022 has been complied with. A copy of the order dated 22.05.2023 be furnished to Mr. R Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and also a copy of the said order be kept on record. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall always be at liberty to assail the aforesaid order if so aggrieved. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
