The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 and 5 submitted that the petitioner is a disgruntled member who was part of the Committee constituted for organizing the function and has unnecessarily filed the present writ petition. He further submitted that the event is being organized by the respondents 4 and 5, that the function has already commenced, and that the Annadhanam is underway and will continue until 05:00 p.m. today. 3. In view of the above submissions, the official respondents are directed to ensure that the permission, which was wrongly granted by the first respondent/Tahsildar to the Organizers, comes to an end at 05:00 p.m. today. All obstructions on the Highway shall be removed. The official respondents may arrange an alternative venue, such as a ground, with proper facilities and adequate safety measures for the spectators. It is made clear that, if such an arrangement is not feasible, the cultural event shall not be allowed to be conducted. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
