The petitioner, who is working as Forest Guard in Theni Forest Range, Theni Forest Division, claims to have submitted a representation dated 18.06.2026 and an email representation dated 03.07.2026 to the 4th respondent, requesting her transfer to any of the existing vacancies in Varrapur Beat, Thiruppathur Range, Sivagangai District, explaining her personal difficulties and the health conditions of her family members. As the respondents have not taken any action on the said representations, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu, on instructions, submits that the 4th respondent has already considered the request made by the petitioner through her representations and, accordingly, made a recommendation to the 3rd respondent. In the light of the above, taking into consideration the fact that the 4th respondent has already recommended the transfer of the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the recommendation made by the 4th respondent pursuant to the representations dated 18.06.2026 and 03.07.2026 submitted by the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
