The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation at Annexure F1 dated 01.12.2006 has not - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:795 WP No. 27704 of 2025 been considered by the Deputy Commissioner, Mandya District. Similar representation is also given to the Assistant Commissioner and Chairman of the Land Tribunal. 3. On perusal of the representations given by the petitioner, it is clear that the petitioner is claiming that 1 acre and 5 guntas of land in Survey No. 264/B of Sathnoor Village, Kasaba Hobli, Mandya Taluk, was granted in favour of his uncle late Sri Marisiddaiah, S/o Channaboraiah in proceedings bearing No.LRF CR 1/84-85 dated 30.01.1985. The petitioner claims that he has succeeded the estate of the said late Sri. Marisiddaiah and is seeking entry of his name in the revenue records. 4. Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that such an application even it is permitted to be given, it should have been given to the Tahsildar and not the Deputy Commissioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:795 WP No. 27704 of 2025 5. Accepting the submission made by the learned High Court Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to give such a representation to the 4th respondent – Tahsildar, Mandya Taluk and if such representation is given, the Tahsildar shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders or issue an endorsement to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from when the representation would be given by the petitioner to the Tahsildar.
