This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to disburse the petitioner's terminal benefits as per the letter of the 3rd respondent dated 15.09.2025 in Na.Ka.No.028/2025 with accrued interest. 3. This matter came up for consideration yesterday, i.e., on 09.07.2026, and it was brought to the notice of this Court by 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.19239 of 2026 Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent, that the proposal submitted by the 3rd respondent had already been returned by the 4th respondent. He sought time to produce the relevant proceedings, and accordingly, the matter was adjourned. 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned Counsel for the 4th respondent, submits a copy of the proceedings dated 13.05.2026, wherein it is stated that the proposal shall be forwarded along with the original Service Register and in case the original Service Register is not available, a non-traceable certificate, along with a duly attested copy of the Service Register, shall be forwarded by the Department. 5. Mr.C.Jeganathan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu, on instructions from respondents 1 to 3, submits that the 3rd respondent has received the proceedings dated 13.05.2026 and is taking all necessary steps to re-submit the proposal along with a copy of the Service Register and a non-traceable certificate. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to re-submit the pension proposals of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 4th respondent shall consider the proposal and pass appropriate orders thereon within a further period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal from the 3rd respondent.
