It is further submitted that respondent No.4 – the Station House Officer, upon verification of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23321 WP No. 13425 of 2026 records and the nature of allegations, has arrived at a conclusion that the dispute in question is essentially civil in nature, not warranting initiation of criminal proceedings. Consequently, a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) endorsement has been issued, relegating the complainant to avail appropriate remedies before the competent civil Court in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the respondents, which is placed on record, nothing further survives for consideration in the present writ petition. The grievance projected by the petitioner stands redressed and the cause of action does not subsist. Accordingly, the writ petition is rendered infructuous and stands disposed of.
