The prayer of the petitioner in the present petition is that the Authority before whom the petitioner has filed an appeal against the appointment of Smt. Kimmi Devi, is not being decided by the Authority despite the fact that the same has been filed more than one year ago. Learned Assistant Advocate General, on instruction, informs the Court that the case is listed before the Authority on 11.04.2026, on which date both the parties have been summoned by the Authority. 4. Be that as it may, in light of the prayer of the petition, the same is disposed of with the direction that the Authority shall make an endeavour to decide the appeal expeditiously and in all probabilities before 30.04.2026. Though, in the present petition the Court is not taking any adverse view of the matter but in future the learned counsel would be well advised to ensure that in such like cases the party, against whom the appeal etc. has been preferred, is arrayed as a party respondent.
