Such appeal was rejected solely on the ground of appeal. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal was lodged along with an application to condone delay. 3. Ms.G.Dhana Madhri, learned Government Counsel (Tax), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4. The record shows that the appeal was lodged on 29.09.2025. The assessment order was issued on 30.05.2025. Thus, the appeal was filed within the condonable period. 5. 25.09.2025. Considering this reason and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, the delay is liable to be condoned. 6. For reasons aforesaid, the impugned appellate order is set aside, the delay is condoned and the appellate authority is directed to receive and dispose of the appeal on merits. 7. The writ petition is disposed of on the above terms.
