1. Petitioners have filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :-
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities quash advertisement dated 11.03.2024 and re-conduct the examination for the post of Testing Assistant Grade-II/Technician (Operation). Or 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities quash clause 13 (v) of the advertisement dated 11.03.2024 and add 10% marks relaxation for ST/SC candidates. 10.3 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other writ/ writs, order/ orders, relief/ reliefs in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that pursuant to the advertisement issued by the respondents for filling up the post of Assistant
Grade-II/Technician
(Distribution),
however, respondents/department has not given benefit of 10% relaxation to assess the merit of candidates participated in the examination. He however, submits that as the representation submitted by petitioners are still pending consideration before the respondents authorities vide Annexure P-7) dated 14.04.2025 and forwarded by Superintending
3 Engineer to the higher authorities i.e. Executive Director, Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited, Bilaspur to take decision on the claim of petitioner as forwarded by Superintending Engineer, within specified time frame.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that as petitioners are not pressing this petition on merits and only seeking a direction to the Executive Director, Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited, Bilaspur to take decision on the claim of petitioner as forwarded by the Superintending Engineer, he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioners.

On due consideration on the submission of learned counsel for respective parties, without entering into merits of this case, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing Executive Director, Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited, Bilaspur to take decision on the representation submitted by petitioners on 14.04.2025 in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within further period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands
