CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE B M SHYAM PRASAD
ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is aggrieved by the possibilities of the Work Order being issued to the fourth respondent with the communication that his bid is rejected. The petitioner has filed an application with the Appellate Authority challenging the decision to reject his bid. Sri Sangmesh R.B., the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner's application has been treated as an appeal, but is rejected because of the pendency of this writ petition and that this Court could consider disposing of the petition, calling upon the Appellate Authority, notwithstanding its
order dated 28.10.2025, to consider the petitioner's appeal on merits as that would be in redressal of the petitioner's grievance for the present.
Sri. Swaroop T., the learned counsel for the APMC and its Authorities, and Sri B Ravindranath,

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4565 WP No. 25565 of 2025
learned Additional Government Advocate, who appears for the first respondent, are heard in the light of this request. The petition stands disposed of calling upon the Appellate Authority to consider the petitioner's appeal notwithstanding its order dated 28.10.2025 on merits. As the Work Order relates to a contract that would be for a period of one year, the Appellate Authority is also called upon to decide on the merits of the appeal expeditiously, and in any event, before the expiry of eight [8] weeks from today.
