Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) "Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:5520 WP No. 26809 of 2025 directing the Respondent No.3, Chikkaballapura Urban Development Authority, to consider the representation dated 22.07.2023 and 04.08.2024 at Annexure A1 & A2 to handover the Control Room, Electricity and Project Site complete the Musical Fountain at Eco Theme Park, Kandavara Lake, Chikkaballapura District, forthwtih and to release the payment, in favour the Petitioner; ii) Issue any other writ or order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and appropriate under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the work order has been issued to the petitioner. The worksite has not been handed over to the petitioner and in that background, the writ of mandamus has been sought for. 3. The dispute is essentially contractual in nature. If at all the petitioner has any grievance as regard the respondents not complying with any portion of their obligation, it is for the petitioner to take up necessary proceedings in terms of the applicable law and the contractual arrangement. A writ petition seeking for - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:5520 WP No. 26809 of 2025 mandamus in respect of such contractual arrangement is not maintainable.
