2. The appellants/petitioners made the following prayers in the said writ petition:
"a. Review or Recall the order dated 27.09.2021 passed in W.P.No.51929/2014 by the learned Single Judge of this Hon'ble Court vide Annexure-A in so far as direction issued para 91(XIV) and XX(h)(L).
b. Pass such other order or further orders as this Hon'ble court deems fit. In the
facts and circumstances of the above case, in the interest of justice and equity."
3. We are of the considered view that the W.P.No.4114/2025 was not maintainable against the judgment and order dated 27.09.2021 passed in W.P.No.51929/2014 by the learned Single Judge. However, since the relief sought was to review the order dated 27.09.2021, the learned Single Judge, vide impugned judgment and order dated 12.06.2025 in W.P.No.4114/2025, considered the prayers and rejected the same.
4. The appellants/petitioners claim to be the owners of the lands bearing Sy.No.43/1 measuring 2 acres 19 guntas, Sy.No.43/2 measuring 8 acres 25 guntas and Sy.No.43/3 measuring 29 guntas all situated at Dasarahalli Village. Initially,

the Government had sought to acquire more than 3,000 acres of land for the formation of Arkavathi Layout, which included the lands of appellants/petitioners as well. The land acquisition proceedings were marred by numerous litigations up to the Supreme Court and finally, the Supreme Court in the case of Bondu Ramaswamy and others Vs. Bangalore Development Authority and others reported in (2010) 7 SCC 129 directed the Government to consider the objections of the land owners for inclusion of their lands in the acquisition proceedings considering the parameters as set out in the said
judgment.
5. Numerous objections came to be filed before the Government and the Government, after considering such objections issued a Final Notification in June, 2014 deleting 983.12 acres of land from the acquisition proceedings. As there were serious complaints about large scale corruption, mala fide exercise of the power in an arbitrary and improper manner by the State Authorities in deleting the lands of a few, a number of writ petitions came to be filed before this Court and the learned Single Judge vide
