The contention of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the cheque itself is presented beyond the mandatory period of time. Upon consideration of the case of the petitioner and perusal of the records, it can be seen that the cheque is dated 04.06.2016 and it was presented 17.09.2016. Upon the cheque being dishonoured, the case is filed in the year 2016 and the same is pending. It is also stated that the trial is in progress. At this belated stage, this Court cannot entertain any quash application. 3.
