Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 15.11.2022 in No.Election/C.R:47/2022-23 and the order dated 28.11.2022 in No.ChuNa [Gra.Pam] [Aa.U] C.R:77/2021-22 and the calendar of Events dated 30.11.2022 in No.Kshe.Shi/ Gra.Pan.Chunavane/C.R/02/2021-22 [assed by the 2nd and 4th Respondents vide Annexures-C, E and G. ii) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent No.2 to hold enquiry as contemplated under the 2nd proviso to Section 48(1) of the Act by considering the representations dated 28.11.2022 vide Annexures-F and F1. iii) Such other direction or order or writ as may deem fit to this Hon'ble Court may kindly be issued. 2. A memo has been filed signed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which reads as under: "The counsel for the petitioner most humbly submits that the caption petition is filed challenging the order at Annexures-C, E and G. Since the terms of the Gram Panchayath is 5 years is over on 31.12.2020, thus, the present petition sought reliefs are having become infructuous. Hence, the present - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:781 WP No. 24257 of 2022 petition does not survive for further consideration. Therefore, the writ petition may be disposed off having become infructuous in the interest of justice". 3.
