The challenge in this writ petition is to an order dated 06.06.2026 granting leave of 40 days (ordinary leave) without escort to convict Sudhakar, aged 40 years, S/o.Muthuraj, at Central Prison, Salem. 2. Under the impugned order, the convict has been directed to provided two sureties. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the sureties have been directed to be produced before the Tahsildar and that he may be permitted to produce the same before the Superintendent, Central Prison, Salem. 4.
