Ezhumalai for Mr.H.Thameen Ansari For Respondent(s): Ms.Inthu Karunakaran Government Counsel ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s Revision/ Appeal dated 14.02.2025. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a Revision/Appeal dated 14.02.2025 before the 1st respondent, challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent pertaining to the subject property situated at East Coast Road, Vettuvankeni, Injambakkam, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District, which is comprised in Survey No. 353/17 and covered under Patta, Chitta, and Adangal __________ Page2 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 26498 of 2026 No. 938. However, the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent to date. Challenging this inaction on the part of the 1st respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3. The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner’s appeal dated 14.02.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the 1st respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 14.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
