The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No.305 of 2025 (N) corresponding to NDPS Case No.17 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii), 21(b), 22, 29 of the NDPS Act and Section 111(2) of the BNS, 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the was found in illegal possession of 50 gm of brown sugar and the several co-accused persons have stated that the petitioner on different occasions was selling the brown sugar of various quantity. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is next submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as has been mentioned in para-17 of this bail application. It is next submitted that the co-accused has been granted bail by the co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 26.02.2026 in B.A. No.835 of 2026. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 24.11.2025 as mentioned in para-07 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Spl.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, (NDPS), Ranchi in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No.305 of 2025 (N) corresponding to NDPS Case No.17 of 2026 with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case.
