At the request of learned counsel for petitioner which is not opposed by learned counsel for respondent-State the case is heard finally. 4. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no. 1 to consider case of the petitioner for grant of Senior Selection Scale as per existing rule and revised his pension case accordingly, within stipulated period. 10.2 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit may kindly be granted.” 5. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he does not want to press this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to respondent no. 1 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-5) dated 17.04.2025 at the earliest within a specified time frame. 6. Learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner. 7. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, respondent no. 1 is directed to consider and decide the representation submitted by petitioner (Annexure P-5) dated 17.04.2025 in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 8. However, petitioner will be at liberty to submit a fresh comprehensive representation, if he so desires, and in the even if such representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the same afresh along with the pending representation. 3 / 3 9.
