During course of hearing, it is pointed out by the learned advocate representing Union of India that this Court may not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain the writ petition as the petitioner is serving in Tripura and petitioner has made application for his transfer from Tripura to West Bengal. 3. Considering the submission made on behalf of the Union of India, Court finds that application for transfer dated 11th December, 2025 was addressed to the Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), New Delhi through Commandant CRPF Salbagan, West Tripura, Tripura. 4. It is also found that at present petitioner is serving in Tripura. Therefore, This Court does not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain the writ petition. 5. Hence, writ petition stands dismissed. 6. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum seeking identical relief. 7.
