Instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioners seeking following reliefs :- 2 “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to immediately issue token from the remaining 100 quintals of paddy of the petitioner. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to procure the remaining paddy of the petitioner without delay. 10.3 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit with regard to this case. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are agriculturist. The petitioner No. 1 and his wife (petitioner No. 1) are owners of about 28 acres agricultural land situated at village Pasta, Tehsil Dabra, District Balrampur- Ramanujganj. He further submits that out of the total paddy of approximately 175 quintals ready for procurement, only 75 quintals paddy have been procured till date. As on 02.01.2026, approximately 100 quintals of paddy of petitioners remains un- procured due to non-issuance of further tokens by respondent No. 4. He further submits that the petitioners have filed application (Annexure P-1) dated 30.01.2026 before Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Balrampur, District Balrampur- Ramanujganj (C.G.) in this regard, but the same has not been decided yet. Hence, he prays that this petition may be disposed of directing respondent No. 2 /Sub- Divisional Officer (Revenue), Balrampur to decide application (Annexure P-1) dated 30.01.2026 filed by the petitioners expeditiously. 3. Counsel for the State has no objection to allow the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused material available on record. 5. Having considered the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners, this petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 to decide the application 3 (Annexure P-1) dated 30.01.2026 filed by the petitioners expeditiously preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt/ submission of copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid observations & directions, this writ petition is disposed of. 7. Pending interlocutory application (s), if any, stands disposed of.
