Common Order:-
In all this batch of writ petitions, the petitioners have challenged the notice dated 23.09.2013 issued by the 2nd respondent, whereby the allotment of developed plots to the petitioners was found to be contrary to the established law, rules and regulations governing the authority. 2. The 2nd respondent has stated that the allotments were irregular and that the plots allotted to the petitioners were cancelled. A show cause notice in that regard was issued to the petitioners calling upon them to submit their explanation as to why the allotment of the plots ought not to be cancelled and as to why criminal action ought not to be initiated against them. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent had accepted the request for extension of time for filing a reply to the show cause notice dated 23.09.2013 till 31.10.2013. 4. A counter has been filed by the 2nd respondent stating that the petitioners have colluded with the authorities and have not arrayed the necessary parties as respondents, as the subject land was handed over to the 2nd respondent on 13.02.2007 by one Smt. Omni Pydamma.
It is also stated that the 2nd respondent has identified several irregularities in the allotment of alternate plots and, as such, the respondent authority found it appropriate to cancel the allotments. 5. Sri S. Ganesh Babu, learned Standing Counsel, submits that the respondent authority has also filed a suit for cancellation of the sale deeds
