The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.03 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 103 (1), 61 (1), 3 (5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner files a supplementary affidavit as well as the web copy of the W.P. (Cr.) (DB) No.674 of 2026 (Filing No.). Let the same be kept in the record. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner, in furtherance of common intention with the co-accused persons and in criminal conspiracy with them, has committed the murder of Soma Munda by firing upon him. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is further submitted that the main allegation is against the co-accused Danial Sanga. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner draws the attention of this Court towards the web copy of the W.P. (Cr.) (DB) No.674 of 2026 (Filing No.) and submits that the said Writ Petition for habeas corpus was filed by the father of the petitioner and it was found out that the petitioner was taken into custody forcibly and detained illegally without giving any information to the family members and as a retaliation, the petitioner has been implicated in this case. It is next submitted that the co-accused, with similar allegations, have already been admitted to bail by this Court vide order dated 30.03.2026 passed in B.A. No.2555 of 2026. It is then submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and that he will not annoy or disturb the informant or any of his family members in any manner during the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 13.01.2026 as has been mentioned in para-17 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.03 of 2026 with the condition that he will co- operate with the trial of the case, furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or any of his family members in any manner during the trial of the case.
