When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that FIR has been registered against the very same petitioner in Crime No.74 of 2026 of Proddatur III Town Police Station, Y.S.R. Kadapa District for the offences punishable under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3. Taking into consideration of the above facts and circumstances of the case, Sri S. Abdul Matheen, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to work out the legal remedies of the petitioner, including challenging the said FIR before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law. 4 4. Accordingly, in view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his legal remedies, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
