Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for about nine months and charge-sheet has already been submitted. There is alleged recovery of 22.7 kgs. of Ganja and 13 grams of Brown Sugar. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail as commercial quantity of contraband has been seized in the present case. Having considered the overall circumstances of the case, I am of the opinion that the petitioner has failed to overcome the rigours of Section 37 of the NDPS Act. As such, at this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of independent seizure list witnesses is over. 2 The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 669 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
