By filing this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs :- “(a) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, for quashing the entire proceeding initiated against the petitioners in B.C.A (Title Eviction) – 7/14-15, as same has been initiated under Section 19 (1) (e) of the Jharkhand Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 2011 which came into force in the state of Jharkhand on 15/4/2015 (Annexure-5) vide gazette notification no.02/nv/Reform/9/2010- 1336, which is much later from the date the abovementioned proceeding was initiated 2026:JHHC:9672 2 i.e. 28/7/2014. (b) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, for quashing of order dated 08.06.2018 passed by Learned Rent Controller-Cum-S.D.O., Madhupur, in connection with B.C.A. No.7/2014-15, annexure-4. (c) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction upon the respondent for staying of the order dated 08.06.2018 (Annexure-4).” 2. Heard learned counsel representing the respondents. 3. It is the case of the petitioners that the proceeding in connection with B.C.A (Title Eviction) No.07/14-15 has been initiated for evicting them from the premises situated in Bara Sekhpura of Madhupur Town, Holding No.37, Ward No.7 (new) within Madhupur Municipality, Thoka No.2/K2, with an area of 1300 sq. feet. 4. From the aforesaid prayer, it is clear that the petitioners are praying for quashing the aforesaid proceeding. 5. Now, Ms. Pooja Agrawal, learned counsel representing the private respondent Nos.4 & 5 submits that she has received instruction from the client that the petitioners have already vacated the aforesaid premises. 6.
