By way of filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to respondent No.3/Sub Divisional Officer, Arang, Distt. Raipur (CG) to decide the Revenue Case No.202306112400061-/B-121/ 2022-23 expeditiously. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, a senior citizen aged about 72 years, has filed an application (Annexure-P/2) under BINI PRADEEP Digitally signed by BINI PRADEEP Date: 2026.03.20 10:54:37 +0530 2 Section 4 read with Section 5 and Section 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, seeking maintenance and eviction of respondents 1 & 2 from his house. The said application was registered as a revenue case by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Arang, Distt. Raipur on 11.5.2023. It is further submitted that despite lapse of more than 2 ½ years, aforesaid case has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that respondent No.3 may be directed to decide the aforesaid revenue case within the stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that above mentioned revenue case will be decided within the period specified by this Court. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner and also considering the contention of learned counsel for the State, without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.3/Sub Divisional Officer, Arang, Distt. Raipur to decide Revenue Case No.202306112400061-/B-121/2022-23, within a period of 30 days from today. Learned counsel for the State is also directed to apprise respondent No.3 about this order. 6.
