Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “1. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to modify the conditions mentioned in the appointment order i.e. probation for 3 years to 2 years. 2. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide increments and other benefits as the petitioner is entitled on completion of probation of 2 years 3. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief as it may deems fit and appropriate.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner submitted an application pursuant to the advertisement published in the year 2015, however, petitioner was not issued appointment order, against which he has filed a writ petition bearing WPS No. 4990 of 2015 which was decided in favor of petitioner and, thereafter petitioner was issued the appointment order in the year 2024, however, in order of appointment period of probation is mentioned as three years which is the amended period of probation. At the time of issuance of advertisement probation period was of only two years therefore, petitioner submitted a representation before the concerned authority i.e. respondent no. 3, which is still pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 3 to take decision on pending representation at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner of a direction to respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision on representation submitted by petitioner, he is having no objection. 3 / 3 4. I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties and also perused the documents enclosed along with this writ petition. 5. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision on pending representation submitted by petitioner dated 24.12.2025, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the order. 6.
