For Petitioner(s): Mr.P.Chandrasekar T.A.Raghavan For Respondent(s): Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, Standing Counsel Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.03.2026 and disconnect the electricity given to the respondents 3 to 7 for the property situated in survey No.38/4, 38/5, 38/6, 38/7 in Perungudi Village measuring an extent of 20 cents. Notice to R3 to R7 dispensed with. 2. Learned counsel for petitioners would submit that petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 19.03.2026 to disconnect the electricity connection given to the respondents 3 to 7 in the above said property. Since the respondents 1 and 2 have not passed any order on the said representation, the petitioners are before this Court. 3. At the outset, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that petitioners’ representation dated https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 26305 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 19.03.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by learned counsel for petitioners. 4. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 19.03.2026 submitted by the petitioners keeping in view the order passed in O.S.No.354 of 1997 dated 17.02.2011 as well as the order passed in the appeal in A.S.No.70 of 2011 dated 04.12.2020 and pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as respondents 3 to 7, within a period of three weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
