The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kanke PS Case No.255 of 2023, for offence registered under section 279, 270, 272, 273, 420, 120B and 34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A), 52(D) and 55 of Excise Act, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be owner of Tata Tigor car. He next submits that since the liquor has been recovered from the said car, the petitioner has been implicated in this case. He next submits that for the medical purpose the said vehicle has been provided to villagers and in the meantime, the vehicle has been misused and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para-18. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner is said to be owner of said Tata Tigor car. 5. Considering that petitioner is the owner and it has been 2026:JHHC:9709 2 pointed out that for medical purpose the said vehicle has been provided to villagers and in the meantime, the said vehicle has been misused, and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and the learned court shall release the petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as the learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
