The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner inherited the property measuring a total extent of 4 grounds and 1,200 sq. ft., comprising Plot Nos. 15, 16, and 17 (each measuring 2,400 sq. ft.) and Plot Nos. 30 and 31 (each measuring 1,800 sq. ft.), in Survey No. 724/3 of Pallikaranai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District. Currently, the revenue records stand in the joint names of the erstwhile owners. Consequently, the petitioner submitted an online application dated 13.09.2025 seeking a transfer of patta in her name. As the said application has not been disposed of to date, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition. 3. In reply, Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s application dated 13.09.2025 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of six weeks. 4. In view of the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner’s application dated 13.09.2025 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
