ORDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.129 of 2026, dated 12.03.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that while the petitioner was arrested in a case registered against him, the investigation into the genuine complaint lodged by the petitioner in the present crime number is not proceeding. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition to transfer the investigation.
3. In response, the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents/police, submitted that the investigation has substantially progressed. He further submitted that if one month’s time is granted, the investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed.
4. In view of the above submissions, this criminal original petition stands closed with a direction to the first respondent to complete the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

The jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to supervise and oversee the investigation.
