(2) According to petitioner, he was engaged as daily wager in GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology to perform duties as Lab Assistant since 2007. According to him, after serving for nearly two decades, he has earned a right to be considered for regularisation. Since that right is not being considered, therefore, he has approached this Court by filing this writ petition. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents are not permitting the petitioner to attend duties since February, 2026. (4) Having regard to the facts of the case, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation claiming regularisation. It shall be open for him to raise the issue of reengagement also. If he makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, as per law, within eight weeks from the date presentation of certified copy of this order.
