Quash the FIR/Crime No. 232/2025 registered by Channarayapatna Town police/Hassan District, pending on the file of the Hon'ble Additional District and Session Judge FTSCI (Spl Court for Trial At Hassan under offence of POCSO Act, 2012 under Section 23(4), in so far as Accused Nos. 1 and 2 are concerned, produced under Document No.1. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21388 CRL.P No. 551 of 2026 b. Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interests of justice and equity. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional SPP and have perused the material on record. 3. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners hitherto, it was the Admin of the WhatsApp group had circulated the pictures of the name of the victim. A victim was involved in the sexual assault and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) offence. The petitioners had only forwarded the same. 4. Learned Additional SPP now submits that the Admin and others are all now caught under the web of crime. 3. Therefore, the petitioners are reserved liberty to approach this Court in the event a final report would be filed against them. With the aforesaid observations, the petition is disposed.
