In the interest of justice, impleadment application (IA No. 2 of 2026) is allowed. 4. Petitioner shall file amended memo of parties in the Registry during the course of the day. 5. According to petitioner, he scored 81.89 quality point marks in the selection for appointment to the post of Assistant Teacher in Government Primary School, yet he was not recommended for appointment, while candidate having 81.59 quality point marks have been selected and recommended for appointment. 6. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: - (i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher primary school in District Pauri Garhwal under General Category (Art) against post as per merit of the petitioner. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that so far only 80 candidates have been recommended for 2026:UHC:1393 appointment, as against 201 vacancies, which were advertised for District Pauri Garhwal. 8. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to District Education Officer (Elementary), Pauri, within ten days from today. If he makes representation within stipulated time, the same shall be considered and decided, as per law, within four weeks thereafter. It shall be open to petitioner to submit the representation through e-mail.
