Laskar, learned counsel for the accused applicant. Also heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the applicants namely, Ikbal Hussain, Moni Uddin @ Monin Uddin, Amzad Hussain @ Amjat Ali and Muslim Uddin, have prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Murajhar P.S. Case No. 183/2025, registered under Section 13(1) of Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. 3. The case arose out of an FIR dated 18.09.2025 lodged by the police official of the aforesaid police station naming all the four accused Page No.# 3/3 applicants in the FIR and alleging that there was an information about illegal sale of cow meat from the area and on 17.09.2025, a raid was conducted, whereupon, 25 kgs of suspected cow meat was seized in the name of two witnesses have also been mentioned. 4. Mr. Baruah, learned APP submits that the Charge Sheet in the instant case has already been submitted vide Charge Sheet No. 260/2025 dated 31.12.2025. 5. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel submits that he should be allowed to take appropriate relief in the appropriate forum. 6.
